Why subscribe?

Off_line. is where the conversations get honest.

It’s the place I write the things we’re all thinking and most of us don’t say out loud, about marriage, motherhood, money, bodies, ambition, grief, and the joy that somehow survives all of it. No performance. No pretending I’ve got it figured out. Just the real version, the way you’d talk to your most trusted friend, the one whose living room you can say anything in.

This grew out of a simple feeling: that the internet had become a place to perform, and I was tired of performing. So this is the opposite of that. Some of it is funny. Some of it is hard. All of it is true.

Here’s how it works. Some posts are free and open to everyone. But the real conversations, the deeper ones, the ones I can only have with the door closed, live behind the paywall, alongside my fortnightly column, the full uncut podcast, and the lives and chats where I actually show up. If you want the honest version, that’s where it is.

I write for the people who are done being sold a highlight reel. Mostly women. Mostly in the thick of real life. All of them welcome.
